About ICS 2026

Dear Esteemed Scientists and Representatives from Academia, Industry and Public Institutions,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are honored to invite you to participate in the 1st IKU-SPECTRA International Congress on Spectroscopy (ICS 2026), to be held on 21-22 May 2026 at the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center, Istanbul Kültür University, Istanbul, Türkiye.

ICS 2026 is organized under the umbrella of the Spectroscopy@IKU ERA-Chair Project, funded by the European Union within the Horizon Europe WIDERA program and hosted by the IKU-SPECTRA Molecular Sciences and Spectroscopy Applied Research Center.

This congress aims to bring together leading international scientists working on molecular spectroscopy, both fundamental and applied, to share recent advancements and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

Congress Participation and Abstract Acceptance

All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the Congress.

The corresponding author will receive an official Acceptance Letter via e-mail.

Each registered participant may present up to two activities (oral or/and poster presentations) as corresponding or presenting author, and may also appear as a co-author on additional works.

Registration and Information Desk

The Registration and Information Desk will be located at the congress venue and open from 09:00 h on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Participants who complete their payment after 17:00 h on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 are kindly requested to present their bank receipts at the registration desk.

On-site payments will be accepted at the congress desk in cash only.

Documentation

Congress badges will be distributed at the registration desk, together with other documentation, including the Abstracts Book and Participation Certificate. All participants are kindly requested to wear their badges during all scientific and social events of the congress.

Stand Areas

Exhibition stands will be located next to the main conference hall. Access to these areas is limited to registered participants.

Poster Awards

Prizes will be awarded to the Best 3 Posters, elected by a Jury designated by the Scientific Committee of ICS 2026. Certificates of recognition will be delivered during the Closing Ceremony.

Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be made for registration cancellations after 01 February 2026.

Cancellations are valid only if the Congress Secretariat is notified in writing.
